Word for the Month from Daily in Your Presence

Word For the Month: JUDGE

And the heavens proclaim his righteousness, for God himself

is judge. (Psalm 50:6)

 

FROM THE Father’s Heart

My child, there is nothing you can do to win My favor. I am

not an ogre who waits to criticize your every move. I am the judge, but you are

not under condemnation. I want no bribes, no sacrificial deeds of ppesement.

Why would I need them? I own the cattle on a thousand hills. I am wealthy

beyond measure. Everything is Mine. What matters to Me is your attitude, and

our relationship, based on faith. I will judge the wicked, not you.

 

 

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE

I need not tremble before the Father’s throne, although

there is nothing good in me. You will plead my case. And because of Your death

and sacrifice, my sentence has been dismissed. You are my judge, Lord. Thank You

for declaring me innocent.

 

 

SIMPLE TRUTH

Tolerance is the ability to lay aside our differences for

the greater cause of unity.
