We strive to apply the Word of God to our lives, to love one another and through prayer, bring other youth to Jesus.
Goal
The Youth Ministry of Damascus Missionary Baptist Church provides spiritual guidance for the youth of our church by responding to their social and spiritual needs by involving them in fun and educational events as well as community support activities.
Motto: Reach One, Teach One
Objectives
- To promote Health and Wellness among youth and their peers.
- Encourage youth to use their individual talents during church functions and get involved in other ministries that interest them.
- We encourage youth to become successful and productive leaders in their school and communities.
Along with the Body of Christ we encourage our youth to glorify God and be of service to others and be mindful of the needs of others.
Ministry Activities
- Participate in Sunday Morning Worship Services (every 3rd Sunday is Youth Sunday) as well as other Church Services and Programs.
- Participate in the Annual Back to School Rally.
- We are focused on learning the Word of God, becoming disciples and making disciples through interactive, fun filled ministry such as youth night. Our influence expands beyond youth night as every 3rd is youth Sunday with the Echoes of Praise singing.
